John was born in the USA, but he has lived in Germany and France for over 30 years.

Fritz-R. Klocke Fruerlunder Bogen 14 D-24943 Flensburg	Fritz was born in 1962 and raised in Germany.   He started sailing in 1976 on dinghies at the Baltic Sea. With his first self earned money he bought himself a Hobie 14 in 1983. Due to a girlfriend he converted to a Hobie 16 in 1987 and since then actively raced with his “former girl friend” and nowaday´s wife Heidrun. In 2002 they added a Hobie TIGER while sailing now on the Chesapeake bay in the US. Since 1996 Fritz participated in 4 World Championships and 4 Europeans.    From 1993 until 2001 he was the President of the Yacht Club CCFF until he had to leave for the US. As PRO he ran various regattas i.e Travemünder Woche and Flenburger Fördewoche Since 1997 active Youth Trainer in Northern Germany Since 2004 Vice President of the Hobie Fleet 32 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Since 2004 IHCA Vice President   In his work life Fritz is a Commander (senior grade) in the German Navy. His most joyful job was when he was Commanding Officer from 1992 until 1997 which gave him a lot of expertise in the maritime world. At present he lives in the United States due to a NATO assignment.

Geert has been a Hobie Cat sailor since 1990. He started on the Hobie 16 with his girlfriend Liesbeth. They sailed a lot of International races, with led to podium places in Europeans and sub-top in Worlds. They finished sailing the 16 in 1996 with the North American Continentals in Santa Cruz, California. In 1997 they started sailing the Tiger. With having two children life changed a little and since 2001 Geert is not actively racing. Geert has his own consultant company in IT and business organisation for maritime industry and another company for e-business solutions (complex websites) for all markets.
